About Dedees Tacos Al Vapor At Dedees Tacos Al Vapor, every taco, torta, burrito, and agua fresca starts with the same ingredient: family. Our journey began long before we officially opened our doors. While Dedees Tacos Al Vapor officially launched on January 8, 2025, our first day serving customers was July 5, 2025. During those early months, we spent our time sharing food with the community, participating in local events, and refining the recipes and flavors that would become the foundation of our business. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated food business serving the Montbello community from Peoria Plaza at the corner of 54th and Peoria. Every day, we prepare our food fresh using quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and the same care we would use when cooking for our own family. Our inspiration comes from the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, especially the traditions and flavors that shaped our upbringing. From the tacos al vapor commonly enjoyed in Manuel Doblado to the pastor and street-food influences found throughout León and beyond, our menu reflects the flavors we grew up loving. We do not claim to represent any single city or style. Instead, we proudly share a taste of Guanajuato as a whole—our home. Everything we serve is prepared fresh daily. Our meats are seasoned and cooked with care, our aguas frescas are made fresh, and our recipes focus on flavor, quality, and consistency. We believe great food doesn't need shortcuts, which is why we focus on simple ingredients, authentic preparation, and homemade flavor. As our business has grown, so has our connection to the community. We were honored to support local events, including serving as a sponsor for the 2025 Church of the Ascension community food event here in Montbello. The support we've received from our customers, neighbors, local creators, and community organizations has helped transform a family dream into a growing local business.
